HOW WE WORK
PHASE 1: INITIAL CONSULTATION
The initial consultation takes place in your space(s) of focus, where you discuss your design and organization goals, style preferences, and budget. This visioning session can include initial discussion of finishes, fixtures, furniture, area rugs, window treatments, paint color selections, artwork, accents, etc. (including measurements if applicable). If you are ready to move to Phase 2 after the initial consultation, you will determine the scope of the project with your designer and gain alignment on cost estimates. Your initial consultation is provided at a flat fee to offer flexibility in deciding whether to move forward to additional phases with your designer. This typically lasts about an hour, with focussed conversation on the most pressing areas for immediate refinishing, furnishing or decoration. Time can be added if desired.
PHASE 2: DESIGN SERVICE
After the initial consultation, your designer can create a detailed plan with tailored visuals and selections to meet your goals within the project scope. This may include mood boards with any associated item links for easy purchasing, layouts with furnishings rendered in 2D and 3D, and/or material pallets. You will have a creative brief to go over the first round of ideas and options with your designer to determine the most appropriate next steps for your project, which may include additional iterations to finalize selections. When this phase is complete to your satisfaction, you will determine whether to move to Phase 3, in which your designer handles procurement, installations and finishing touches in your space(s). Design service after the initial consultation is tracked at an hourly rate, and is invoiced periodically for ongoing transparency. Prompt response to communications is recommended in this phase to maintain your desired project timing and avoid unnecessary rework, as pricing and availability of selections may change over time.

PHASE 3: INSTALLATION SERVICE
To bring your space to its best potential, leave the finishing to your trusted, experienced designer. Phase 3 is the BEST phase of design work, when the transformation comes to life in your beautifully finished space! We greatly value our clients on a personal level and live to “wow” with our full service. Your ideal full service includes ordering and purchasing, as well as finished execution of the ideas developed in Phase 2. Exclusive discounts are available through your designer, who works diligently to get you the best price on quality items with no designer markup. Once all of the details to complete your project come together, we schedule an installation date to complete the final decorating, furniture placements, and other installations. We can work with your preferred contractors for any expert trades that may be required for your project (such as painting, wallpaper application, tiling, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, flooring installation, general construction, etc.), or we can recommend trusted partners to complete your contractor level installations. For best results, select a date and time when the space(s) being worked in will be clear of any extraneous clutter and/or people.
